Konosuba Mobile Game Ceases Operations

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days is shutting down its servers globally on January 30th, 2025, ending a nearly five-year run. Both the global and Japanese servers will cease operation simultaneously. However, developers are planning a limited offline version, preserving the main storyline, key quests, and events. Details on this offline version remain scarce.

In-App Purchases and Refunds:

In-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024. Existing Quartz and in-game items remain usable until the service ends. Refunds for unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 are available until January 30th, 2025. Official channels will close on February 28th, 2025.

A Look Back at KonoSuba: Fantastic Days:

Initially launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game based on the popular KonoSuba anime. The game featured an engaging storyline set in a world threatened by the Devil King's army, charming storytelling, and appealing visuals. Despite its positive aspects, it ultimately succumbed to the challenges faced by many gacha RPGs, including maintaining player engagement and managing high production costs.

With only a few months remaining, now is your last chance to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. Download it from the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, check out our article on Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild.
