Magic: The Gathering - 2 New Cards from Aetherdrift

First up is the Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon creature card that showcases the essence of the red-white color pairing in Aetherdrift. Representing the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem (first seen in the 2v2-focused set, Battlebond), this card emphasizes the thrill of racing and piloting vehicles. With a power of 3, it can crew vehicles on its own, but its activated ability offers an exciting alternative by creating Pilot token creatures to take the wheel for you. If you're drafting a red-white deck in Aetherdrift, this card could be a solid choice.
Next, we reveal the rare enchantment, Count on Luck. This 3-mana card, with its straightforward all-red-pip casting cost, brings the excitement of "impulse draw" to your mono-red deck. At the start of each of your turns, you'll exile the top card of your library and have the chance to play it during that turn. It's a "use it or lose it" mechanic that consistently provides you with extra cards, as long as you can play them right away.
We also have a special treat for you - a look at Count on Luck in its extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. While extended art simply expands the artwork beyond the traditional card frame, the First-Place Foils are a dazzling new addition to Aetherdrift. These golden beauties are only available through a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with every Aetherdrift box. Not only does this treatment apply to all the rares in the set, but you'll also find 10 full-art lands gleaming with this special finish.
Mark your calendars, because Aetherdrift is set to hit the streets both in paper and online on February 14, with prereleases starting on February 7. Dive deeper into the mechanics of the set here and get ready for an exhilarating race across the multiverse.
