Marvel Rivals Season 1: Hero Data Reveals Top Picks and Win Rates

NetEase has released the first month's hero statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting top picks and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes. The data reveals player favorites and underperforming characters ahead of Season 1's launch on January 10th.

Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay popularity on both PC and console. However, Mantis surprisingly boasts the highest win rate across all game modes and platforms, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

The most popular heroes in each category are:

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with incredibly low pick rates: 1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive. This low popularity is attributed to criticisms regarding her damage output and gameplay mechanics. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her standing considerably.

The arrival of the Fantastic Four in Season 1 is expected to significantly impact the meta, promising exciting changes to the hero landscape. NetEase's data provides a fascinating snapshot of the game's current state before these anticipated shifts.
