Mobile Horror Thrill: 'Carrion' Unveiled!

Mobile Horror Thrill:

Devolver Digital's impressive Android game library, featuring titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, is about to get even better. The chilling "reverse-horror" game, Carrion, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.

Initially released on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, this mobile version promises the same terrifying experience.

Carrion Mobile: A Horror from a Different Perspective

In Carrion, you embody a creature straight from a nightmare – you are the horror. Control a mysterious, red, amorphous blob as it slithers, claws, and devours everything in its path. This "reverse horror" game flips the script; instead of surviving terror, you are the terror.

The game casts you as The Monster, imprisoned within a high-security Relith Science research facility. Scientists have experimented on your DNA, attempting to control you. But your escape is imminent, and your revenge is coming. Your goal? Escape the facility by any means necessary, consuming scientists, security guards, and anyone else who stands in your way. Navigate vents, smash through doors, and unleash your tentacles to hunt. Carrion on mobile delivers the same wave of panic and destruction as its PC counterpart.

Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, allowing you to breach barricades and grow in size. See it in action:

Fans of Metroidvania-style games will appreciate Carrion's blend of exploration and progression. The pixel art style adds a surprisingly charming touch to the gore.

Carrion on mobile offers a free trial. Unlock the full game and its DLC via a single in-app purchase. Pre-register on the Google Play Store now or download it directly on October 31st.
