NetEase Shuts Down

NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror action game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game will officially be discontinued. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, is a thrilling 4v1 survival horror experience. Players assume the roles of either Killer or Survivor, engaging in a tense game of cat and mouse. Killers hunt and sacrifice Survivors to The Entity, while Survivors strive for survival.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:

The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, preventing new downloads. Existing players can continue playing until the final shutdown date.

NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws and regulations. Further details regarding the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.

Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A special Welcome Package awaits those making the switch. Loyalty rewards will be granted to players who have previously spent money or accumulated experience points in the mobile game.

Download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025, to experience the game before the servers close. For another exciting mobile gaming experience, check out our review of Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
