Patch 8 Brings Exciting New Subclasses to Baldur

Baldur's Gate 3's highly anticipated Patch #8 is on the horizon, bringing cross-play functionality, a dedicated photo mode, and a whopping 12 new subclasses. Larian Studios recently unveiled a sneak peek at four of these subclasses in a video: the enchanting Bard, the colossal Barbarian, the ominous Death Domain Cleric, and the celestial Druid of the Circle of Stars.

The patch is currently undergoing rigorous stress testing, with additional sign-up opportunities available for players eager to participate. While the official release date remains undisclosed, Larian continues to build anticipation with these previews, with this video marking the first in a three-part series showcasing all 12 subclasses. Two more videos are planned to reveal the remaining eight.

The stress test, initiated in January, also introduced the eagerly awaited photo mode. As the final major patch, Patch #8 will conclude the game's post-launch updates, leaving players both satisfied and curious about the future of Baldur's Gate 3.
