Get ready for a Legendary Flight in Pokémon Go! Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are making their Dynamax debuts.

From January 20th to February 3rd, these powerful avian Pokémon will appear in Dynamax form during special Max Battle events. This exciting series builds upon the recently introduced Max Battles.

Max Battle Schedule:

  • January 20th: Dynamax Articuno (and Shiny possibility!)
  • January 27th: Dynamax Zapdos (and Shiny possibility!)
  • February 3rd: Dynamax Moltres (and Shiny possibility!)

Each Legendary bird will dominate Max Battles at all PokéStops on the first day of their week-long appearance. Following their initial appearance, they'll continue to appear in Max Battles at select PokéStops for the remainder of the week. These encounters will be five-star Max Battles.
