At an estimated $100 per day, his investment totals approximately $8,500, excluding any potential savings from sales events during the game's launch and the holiday season. Upcoming Trading Feature in Pokémon TCG Pocket
On January 17, 2025, Pokémon TCG Pocket announced details of its upcoming trading feature on Twitter (X). Trading will initially be limited to friends with cards of the same rarity (1-4 diamonds and 1-star). Rarer cards, including Special Illustration Rare, Immersive, and Crown Rares, are excluded. A consumable item will facilitate trades, similar to Stardust in Pokémon GO.
Initially, trading will include cards from the Genetic Apex (A1) and Mythical Island booster packs, with plans to expand the selection based on player feedback. The announcement also teased a new booster pack launching in January 2025.
