Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown Release Date & Time Confirmed

The Pokémon TCG Pocket game is about to get a major update with the release of the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, following the successful launch of the Genetic Apex set. This guide details the release date, booster pack contents, and some of the new cards you can expect.

Space-Time Smackdown Release Date in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Space-Time Smackdown launches in Pokémon TCG Pocket on January 30th at 1:00 AM Eastern Time. While some initial announcements suggested January 29th, the official Pokémon website and X account confirm the 30th, likely to account for time zone differences.

Number of Booster Packs

Unlike Genetic Apex, which included three booster packs, Space-Time Smackdown offers only two booster packs. These packs feature Palkia and Dialga, hinting at a strong focus on Generation IV Pokémon (Diamond and Pearl). However, expect cards from other generations as well.
