January 2025 Gacha Game Revenue: Genshin Impact Leads the Pack
The gacha game market continues to thrive, with January 2025 revenue figures revealing some significant shifts in the rankings. Genshin Impact, boosted by a major update featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, experienced a dramatic surge in revenue, doubling its December 2024 earnings to a staggering $99.4 million.

Trailing behind Genshin Impact, Pokemon TCG secured a strong second position with $64 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace, a popular "female gacha" title, rounded out the top three, generating $55.2 million.
A contrasting picture emerged for other prominent titles. Honkai Star Rail saw a dip in revenue to $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero experienced a more substantial decline, with earnings halved from $57.9 million in the previous month to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that this ranking considers only mobile platform revenues. Furthermore, the data incorporates a multiplier for Android revenue in China, as Google Play is unavailable in that market, using iOS revenue as a basis for estimation.
