Ubisoft Delays Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence

Rainbow Six Mobile and Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence, highly anticipated mobile titles, have been delayed yet again. Initially slated for release sometime between 2024 and 2025, Ubisoft now plans to launch both games after its FY25 fiscal year, meaning a release sometime after April 2025.

This delay, according to Ubisoft's business documentation, aims to mitigate competition within the already saturated tactical shooter market. The company seeks to optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure a strong market launch, avoiding being overshadowed by other releases. The games are reportedly nearing completion, but the strategic delay prioritizes optimal market conditions.

The decision comes as other major tactical shooters, such as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, are poised for release. Ubisoft's strategy focuses on securing a successful market entry rather than rushing the launch.

While disappointing for fans eagerly awaiting these mobile adaptations, pre-registration remains open for both games. In the meantime, explore our curated lists of the best and most anticipated mobile games of 2024 for alternative gaming options.
