A 2026 Release
Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is slated for release sometime in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, this new title promises to refine and expand on the thrilling third-person action gameplay. The game will feature Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Evolving Gameplay: Come Back Stronger
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived as a separate IP to allow Returnal to stand alone. While Returnal offered a dynamic roguelike experience with shifting biomes, Saros introduces persistent and evolving loadouts – weapons and suits – empowering players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
