Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with Legacy Collections!

EA and Maxis are commemorating The Sims' 25th anniversary with a fantastic surprise: The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 are back on PC! Available now are The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection, individually or bundled together for $40 in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle.

These comprehensive collections include nearly all expansions and stuff packs for both games. While The Sims 2: Legacy Collection omits the 2008 IKEA Home Stuff pack, it still offers a wealth of content. Both collections even include bonus content: The Sims 1 gets the Throwback Fit Kit, and The Sims 2 receives a Grunge Revival Kit.

PlayThis marks the first time in over a decade that both games have been readily accessible digitally. The Sims 1 was originally only available on disc, making access difficult for modern players. The Sims 2's Ultimate Collection, available briefly in 2014, was later removed from EA's Origin store. These new collections ensure all four main Sims titles are easily purchasable digitally.

Originally reviewed with scores of 9.5/10 (The Sims 1) and 8.5/10 (The Sims 2), these classic titles retain their charm. Despite the series' evolution, the originals offer unique gameplay, simplicity, and historical significance.

The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection are available now on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app.
