Marvel's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the Disney+ animated series chronicling Peter Parker's freshman year, has received early renewals for both seasons two and three.
Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' head of streaming, television, and animation, revealed in an interview with The Movie Podcast that scripts for season two are complete, with storyboards already half-finished, even before season one's January 29th premiere. Season three is also officially greenlit.
Winderbaum expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I've fallen head over heels for these characters. I've read all the scripts for Season 2; we're halfway through the animatics. What Jeff Trammell [lead writer and executive producer] is building brick by brick really starts to pay off. You feel it in Season 1, the connection you grow with these characters. It just gets deeper and deeper in subsequent seasons."

While Winderbaum mentioned upcoming discussions with Trammell regarding season three's storyline, no release dates for either season two or three have been announced.
The series follows Peter Parker's initial experiences with his superpowers during his first year of high school. Whether subsequent seasons will follow a chronological year-by-year progression or explore further adventures within his freshman year remains to be seen.
