How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze
To find this stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While multiple entrances exist, use the main entrance shown on the map above for the easiest access.
Once inside the maze, proceed to the right until you encounter a burned-out bus on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to spot the stash. Descend on the opposite side and open the container to obtain the Tourist Suit Body Armor.
Is the Tourist Suit Body Armor Worthwhile?
The Tourist Suit is a highly effective piece of body armor, particularly useful in the early to mid-game stages of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers substantial protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key advantages are superior radiation and physical protection, mitigating significant damage from various sources.
Beyond its defensive capabilities, the suit also boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the extensive on-foot travel in Stalker 2, this improved stamina regeneration is a significant benefit, allowing for longer periods of exploration.
While the Tourist Suit is excellent in its base form, further enhancements are possible. While Lens at Zalissya cannot upgrade it, Diode at the Slag Heap possesses the necessary expertise. He can equip the suit with high-quality modifications to significantly improve its protective attributes.
