Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Re-released after More than a Year of Maintenance!

Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Returns After Extended Maintenance!

Remember SAOVS, Bandai Namco's action RPG launched in November 2022? After an unexpectedly long "never-ending maintenance" period that began in September 2023, it's finally back! While initially slated to return this summer (2024), the developers encountered core functionality issues requiring extensive fixes.

What's New in the Re-released SAOVS?

The relaunch features Battle Royal Season 1, a four-player arena battle where the player with the most knockouts wins. Compete in League Matches to earn Titles and accessories. This season runs until December 30th.

Returning players receive a welcome gift: 5 Sword Spark Mito Pickup Scout Tickets.

A "Restart Celebration" event offers numerous rewards, including up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and mission rewards, lasting until January 30th, 2025.

Limited-time opportunities await! Players can acquire the SSR Sword Spark Mito (Light-elemental fighter), and the new SSR Ability Cards "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades," available until January 6th, 2025.

See the changes for yourself! Watch the latest trailer below and download the game from the Google Play Store.
