Terminator 2D: New Game Announced

Studio Bitmap Bureau is bringing a retro-style side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the iconic film, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. While inspired by the movie's plot, the game promises original storylines and multiple endings, ensuring a fresh experience alongside faithful recreations of key scenes.

Players will control the T-800, Sarah Connor, and a now-adult John Connor, each offering unique gameplay. Take on the T-1000 as the Terminator or Sarah, or lead the resistance as John.

The trailer boasts the franchise's instantly recognizable theme music and pixel art reinterpretations of beloved Terminator 2 moments. Beyond the main story, expect several exciting arcade modes to keep the action going.

Prepare for its release on September 5th, 2025, across all current-gen consoles and PC.
