Showcased with a thrilling debut trailer at Sony’s State of Play 2025, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player, story-driven action adventure game crafted by Eclipse Glow Games. The title promises “dynamic, fast-paced combat, a captivating narrative, and a striking, unforgettable world.”
Set in a modern London torn apart by mystical, otherworldly forces, players control Gwendolyn, navigating the city’s iconic landmarks. Summon spectral Knights of the Round Table to aid in combat against foes drawn from Arthurian legend, and face colossal bosses towering as tall as skyscrapers.
Eclipse Glow Games, a new Chengdu-based studio backed by Tencent, comprises over 100 developers with experience on titles like Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin’s Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia.
“Unveiling Tides of Annihilation at Sony State of Play is a monumental milestone for our team at Eclipse Glow Games,” said Kun Fu, Lead Game Producer.
“This is just the start. We’ve built a world that reimagines Arthurian legend, weaving themes of bravery, loyalty, and heroism into an epic tale set in a hauntingly familiar yet alien landscape, designed to challenge players and elevate the genre.”
