Key Features of the Arcana Season:
The centerpiece is the "Wheel of Destiny," a cosmic roulette wheel impacting the Netherrealm through tarot card draws. Each card alters gameplay; examples include The Sun (scorching energy), The Hermit (stealth assassins), and The Chariot (reflex-testing challenges). Successfully navigating these trials unlocks the Tarot Secret Path.
A new Destiny system enhances Pact Spirits, allowing players to equip Fates (stat boosts like increased resistance) and Kismets (powerful, unique mechanics, including Dual Kismets) on talent nodes.
A new hero, Iris, the Vigilant Breeze, joins the roster, revolutionizing Spirit Magi gameplay. Players can choose between devastating elemental attacks or near-invulnerability via life-restoring magic. Two additional Spirit Magi are introduced: Rock Magus (physical damage) and Erosion Magus (high-damage explosions). The Evil Heart Armor is a new piece of equipment to acquire.
