Star Trek's resurgence since 2017's Star Trek: Discovery has been nothing short of phenomenal, culminating in the recent release of Star Trek: Section 31 on Paramount+. While Section 31 may not have met all expectations, the franchise boasts some truly exceptional entries. The contrasting reception of Section 31 and the acclaimed Strange New Worlds makes this the perfect opportunity to rank the modern-era Star Trek series.
We invite you to participate in a community tier list ranking these shows. While Section 31 is technically a film, we're including it due to its origins as a planned series.
Create your own tier list below and compare it to the IGN community's rankings. Do you concur with Strange New Worlds' top ranking? Does Discovery deserve a higher placement than its current rating? The decision is yours!
Modern Era Star Trek Series Rankings
Personally, I found Picard's third season a significant improvement over its predecessors, deserving an A rating. Prodigy, a delightful surprise, feels like the Voyager sequel I never knew I wanted, earning at least a B in my opinion.
