Unlock the AEK-973 Full Auto Mod in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone
The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973, transforming this previously underpowered weapon. This guide details how to unlock this attachment in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
The Full Auto mod is a limited-time reward within the Black Ops 6 Season 2 Terminator event, available until February 20th. After this date, it's anticipated to become available through the Armory Unlocks system.
To unlock it, you'll need to collect 50 Skulls. Skulls are earned by:
- Black Ops 6 Multiplayer & Zombies: Eliminating enemies has a chance to drop skulls.
- Warzone: Opening loot caches offers a chance to find skulls.
The most efficient methods for Skull acquisition are:
- Zombies (Round 6 Strategy): Activate the Rampage Inducer, play until Round 6, then exit the match. Repeat this process for rapid Skull accumulation.
- Warzone Resurgence Solos: Focus on quickly locating and opening loot caches across the map.
Once you've gathered 50 Skulls, redeem them for the Full Auto mod in the event tab.
Full Auto Mod Functionality:
The Full Auto mod converts the AEK-973 from burst fire to fully automatic, utilizing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate of fire. It pairs well with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine.
However, the mod significantly reduces the AEK-973's damage and range. Despite this, its rapid fire rate maintains a competitive time-to-kill. The mod doesn't affect handling or mobility, meaning its inherently slow handling remains. Consider using attachments to improve these stats or employing it as a medium-to-long-range weapon.
