Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Detailed
Get ready for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova, an exciting in-person event launching February 21-23, 2025, in Los Angeles and New Taipei City! This event, inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, promises a deep dive into the Unova region.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)
The event will feature themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) at both the Rose Bowl Stadium (Los Angeles) and New Taipei’s Metropolitan Park, each offering unique Unova Pokémon encounters. Shiny Deerling variations will appear depending on the habitat and time of day.
Ticket holders can participate in Masterwork Research to encounter Shiny Meloetta. Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others will be available through egg hatching. Shiny Pikachu with unique hats can be found via Field Research.
Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses. Druddigon will feature in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott will appear in One-Star Raids, all with increased shiny rates.
Tickets are available now at a discounted price: $25 USD (Los Angeles) and $630 NT (New Taipei). Add-on ticket options provide extra bonuses, such as 5,000 XP after completing a raid. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8). Booths and team lounges will offer merchandise and relaxation areas.
A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will run March 1-2, offering free access to the Unova region's content for all trainers.
Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)
Before Unova, join the Pokémon GO City Safari in Hong Kong and São Paulo (December 7-8, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time)! Team up with Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery.
Ticket holders receive an explorer hat-wearing Eevee. Evolving it (25 Eevee Candy) retains the hat. The Eevee Explorers Expedition earns a second hat-wearing Eevee.
Special Pokémon like Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, and Clamperl will appear. Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu styles), Swablu, and Skiddo will hatch from eggs. Location-specific Pokémon will also be available. Maps and Pikachu/Eevee visors (while supplies last) will aid exploration.
