Upcoming Pokemon GO Event Adding 2 New Paldean Pokemon

Summary

Shroodle and Grafaiai, the charming Poison/Normal-type Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, debut in Pokémon GO during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, starting January 15th. This event also features a special research quest to rescue Shadow Palkia and increased encounters with Shadow Pokémon.

Niantic's Fashion Week: Taken Over event brings Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, to Pokémon GO starting January 15th. Beyond these exciting additions, players can anticipate various bonuses and raid challenges.

Shroodle, a unique Poison/Normal-type Pokémon with distinctive large eyes, makes its appearance in 12 km Eggs. Evolving it into Grafaiai requires 50 Shroodle Candy. These Pokémon, initially introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, have also made cameo appearances in Pokémon Horizons.

The Fashion Week: Taken Over event runs from January 15th, 12:00 AM to January 19th, 8:00 PM local time. During this period, Shroodle will hatch from 12 km Eggs, evolving into Grafaiai with 50 Shroodle Candy. Team GO Rocket will be more prevalent in balloons and at PokéStops, and a Charged TM can be used to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon. Taking a snapshot offers a chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk.
