Netflix Unveils Devil May Cry Anime Opening Trailer, Featuring Limp Bizkit and a Multi-Season Plan

Following the recent announcement of its premiere date, Netflix has dropped the opening trailer for its upcoming Devil May Cry anime adaptation. The trailer, set to Limp Bizkit's iconic "Rollin'," showcases dynamic action sequences featuring a young Dante, Lady, and the White Rabbit, peppered with nods to the game series.

Showrunner Adi Shankar elaborated on his vision for the anime's future. The series, set in the late 90s and early 2000s, will feature a soundtrack reflecting that era's musical landscape, incorporating tracks beyond Limp Bizkit and a synthwave remix of the game's soundtrack by Power Glove.

Shankar hinted at a multi-season arc, stating that subsequent seasons will adopt distinct visual styles and soundtracks to highlight the diverse nature of the Devil May Cry games.

Plot specifics remain under wraps. However, the first season is anticipated to adapt elements from the Code 1: Dante manga (based on Devil May Cry 3), centering on a young Dante investigating a child's disappearance, forcing a confrontation with his father Sparda's demonic legacy.

The eight-episode first season is slated to debut on April 3, 2025.
