The long-awaited Android Closed Beta is nearly here. Launching this fall, the beta is now open for registration via the official Android page. After testing a demo unit, I can confirm the gameplay is exceptionally smooth.
Later this year, The Old Peace expansion will transport players to Tau—but through the lens of history. This chapter revisits a tense period of ceasefire between the Sentients and Orokin, introducing Adis, a Sentient companion from the Tenno’s childhood, and shedding light on the conflict involving the Orokin, their creations, and the rebellious Dax Anarch Warriors.
Long-time players will notice a visual upgrade for the Operator, courtesy of the Operator Remaster. The update includes enhanced character models, cosmetic assets, and new facial animations, ensuring Operators match Warframe’s evolving visual standards.
Mark your calendars: the Valkyr Heirloom Cosmetic arrives on July 21st, and Caliban Prime Access will be available before The Old Peace goes live.

A preview of the Tauron Focus system revealed a powerful new ultimate ability for the Operator, though details remain limited for now. More substantial news revolves around the side story, Devil’s Triad, focusing on three central figures: Father Lyon Allard (Harrow’s Protoframe), Marie Leroux (Wisp’s Protoframe), and the menacing Uriel Warframe.
This fall also brings the Untitled Fall Update, a content package featuring The Teacher—a modding tutorial quest developed in collaboration with Sumo Digital. It aims to help players master the modding system. Additionally, Oberon will receive a rework, Lavos a deluxe skin, and more quality-of-life improvements, detailed in September’s Devstream.
While Tau will be explored through a historical lens this year, a full-scale narrative chapter set in Tau is slated for 2026. In the meantime, Warframe is available on the App Store—get ready for an exciting lineup of content later this year.
