Following a press tour that hilariously showcased Jack Quaid sporting increasingly impressive fake injuries at a Clippers game, Novocaine has finally hit theaters. This R-rated action-comedy stars Quaid as a man who quite literally feels no pain—leading to some spectacularly bloody (and likely very uncomfortable) stunts.
IGN critic Lena Wilson praises the film, stating, “Novocaine offers more depth than its gimmicky 'man who feels no pain' premise may lead you to believe," adding that it features "clever storytelling and character writing that reminds us of a time when seeing movies in theaters was just plain fun.”
