WordPix is one of our top picks from Pocket Gamer Connects London

by Samuel Mar 17,2025

Fresh from Pocket Gamer Connects London, we got our hands on some exciting new game releases. One standout title was the word-based puzzler, WordPix.

WordPix presents players with simple images and challenges them to guess the associated words. Think "lizard" for a scaly reptile, or "capybara" for a certain large rodent. The core concept is straightforward, making it perfect for quick mental workouts on the go.

To keep things interesting, WordPix offers a variety of game modes. There are solo and multiplayer options, along with "Beat the Boss" challenges for those seeking a tougher test. Daily challenges, including "Word of the Day" and "Quote of the Day," and even a Sudoku mode add extra replayability.

WordPix's appeal is clear: a clean, easy-to-use interface, a simple yet challenging core mechanic, and plenty of variations to keep players engaged. We hope to see more content added as the game launches globally this year. Currently, it's available on iOS in the US and UK, and on Android in the UK.
