Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoration involves placing the correct paintings on designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use the Levitator utility to position it correctly. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator; otherwise, access it via Tab/D-Pad Left.
Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline in Thessaleo Falls (Thorncrown), requires manipulating paintings in Resounding Rise tower. Using the central painting as a reference:
- Exchange the front-left and back-right paintings.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
- Move the painting behind the right-side chairs to the front-right pedestal.
Completing this puzzle reveals a chest, allowing quest progression.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
Located in the "Trial of Wisdom" during the "Trials of Old" quest near Porto-Veno Castle (Thessaleo Fells), this puzzle demands arranging paintings narratively from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
A simple verification method: correctly placed paintings illuminate their frames, providing immediate feedback and simplifying the puzzle.
