Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is giving fans a chance to shape the future of Like a Dragon (LAD) merchandise! To commemorate the franchise's 20th anniversary (December 2025), a special voting project is underway, allowing fans to select their favorite in-game items for real-world production.

Merch Madness: Vote Now!

From lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, a karaoke microphone, and even Kiryu's iconic dragon mask – a whopping 100 items are up for grabs! The winning item, chosen from the fan votes, is guaranteed to be produced and released within two years. Voting runs from February 8th, 2025 to March 21st, 2025, with one vote allowed per day. A subsequent survey will determine the winning item's final design.

More Yakuza Remakes on the Horizon?

RGG Studio hinted at potential remakes in a December 8th, 2024, announcement video, echoing the successful 10th-anniversary remake initiative that brought us Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. While details remain scarce, the anticipation for further announcements leading up to the 20th anniversary is high.

Set Sail with Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

The 20th-anniversary celebration kicks off with the release of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20th, 2025. The game's PC requirements, revealed on February 10th, 2025, are surprisingly modest, with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (or equivalent) recommended, ensuring broad accessibility. Steam Deck verification is also confirmed. A recent story trailer, narrated by the game's villain, Pirate King Raymond Law (voiced by Samoa Joe), further fuels the excitement.
