HoYoverse has unveiled details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, "Among the Forgotten Ruins," launching March 12th and bringing a thrilling new chapter to New Eridu. This update significantly expands the story and introduces exciting new characters and gameplay mechanics.
What's Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?
Version 1.6 plunges Proxies into a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the enigmatic Mayor, forcing them to compete for a mysterious artifact linked to the Sacrifice. Adding to the intrigue, the Mockingbird phantom thief syndicate attempts to sabotage the Mayor's plans, creating a chaotic three-way struggle for control. Other factions also vie for the artifact, further complicating matters. Meanwhile, Hugo and Vivian's suspicious behavior leaves players questioning their allegiances. Version 1.6 also introduces Anby Demara, a powerful new S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. Formerly known as Soldier 0, leader of Silver Squad, Anby wields dual swords, unleashing devastating electric damage.
Joining Anby is Trigger, an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent and ace sniper from Obol Squad. Trigger utilizes Sniper Mode to evade attacks and deliver precise shots, setting up opportunities for teammates to execute Quick Assists.
Returning Favorites
Several popular characters are making a comeback, including Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank Physical Stun Agent), Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent), and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent), each returning with their own rerun banners. Geppetto also emerges as the latest formidable boss in Hollow Zero.
New Challenges and Game Modes
Prepare for a significant challenge with the new Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge. The update also introduces Shadow Operation, a new Hollow Zero gameplay mode featuring unique special effects on each battle stage, such as damage boosts based on accumulated coins.
Experience a unique perspective with Trigger's TV Schedule, offering third-person sniper gameplay and dedicated sniper missions. March On, Tiny Titan! lets players control a Bangboo drone for unique challenges, while Little Knight's Big Charge guides a Bangboo through ten trials to earn rewards, including Pulchra as a playable agent.
