Conquer Kupolovrax in Project Tower: A Comprehensive Guide
Kupolovrax, a formidable boss in Project Tower, presents a significant challenge due to its projectile attacks. This guide outlines effective strategies to overcome this enemy and emerge victorious. While targeting the illuminated segments might seem intuitive, damage is also inflicted by hitting its carapace.
Phase 1
Initially, Kupolovrax remains stationary on the platform. Maintain distance, consistently fire, and employ these evasion techniques:
- Orb Ring Fall: As orb rings descend from the platform's edge, look up and execute a dodge roll just before impact.
- Orb Scattershot Fall: This attack, unlike the ring fall, is easier to evade by strafing as the projectiles descend. A dodge roll remains a reliable option for close calls.
- Orb Line Push: This is the most challenging Phase 1 attack. Instead of continuous strafing, try waiting for the first line, performing a forward dodge roll, and immediately dashing forward.
- Stomp: Kupolovrax's stomp generates a shockwave. Simply jump over it; you can even continue firing during the jump.
Phase 2
Kupolovrax takes flight around 66% health. Continue maintaining distance and firing, using these avoidance strategies:
- Orb Scattershot Fall: The slow descent of these orbs allows for easy evasion by observing their trajectory and strafing.
- Orb Ring Push: Hold your position until the rings are about to hit, then dodge roll left or right.
- Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1, wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll left or right, then dash in the opposite direction.
Phase 3
Triggered at approximately 33% health, Phase 3 closely resembles Phase 2, but with a modified attack:
- Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of converging rings, followed by two rapid ring pushes, and finally, falling orb rings. Hold your position, dodge roll left just before the first rings hit, immediately dash right to avoid the quick rings, and walk forward to evade the falling orbs.
