Set in a parallel universe, Nightreign allows FromSoftware to reference its past titles. The game will feature eight distinct playable characters, each with unique abilities and backstories. A new progression system will unfold over three virtual days, with each cycle introducing changes to the map, new events, enemies, and points of interest. The Spectral Hawk, a companion, will assist players in discovering shortcuts and navigating the evolving landscape.
