Tokuda stated that unlike Monster Hunter: World, where weapon designs largely maintained a base form with variations based on monster materials, Wilds features uniquely designed weapons. This directly addresses concerns about repetitive designs. While some World weapons evolved into unique forms through upgrades, many remained visually similar.
